They sound complicated, but they're really just glorified grilled cheese sandwiches, plust they're delicious!
For each sandwich:
Generously butter two slices of your favorite sandwich bread on one side each. If desired, spread some Dijon mustard on the unbuttered sides. Heat a
few slices of ham until warm in a hot skillet, remove to a slice of bread (unbuttered side up). Add a few slices of swiss, cheddar or American cheese.
Place other slice of bread on top to form a sandwich with buttered sides out.
Fry in medium-hot skilled flipping until both sides are nicely browned and cheese is melted. Serve hot.
