Really you don't see the very small faded ufo. Look closely lol its there. Don't take this the wrong way but maybe you need some reading glasses.

Nice pic it does look very similar to the o'hare pics that Springer put up a few weeks ago. Its really to bad it is barely visible. Get ready for all the skeptics debunking it as a balloon, bird, kite or blimp. If this was taken recently you can eliminate the blimp theory as nyc normally has blimps in the air to cover sporting events(baseball and football). Both of which are not going on right now. Besides seeing a blimp in queens when its not baseball season does not happen. How do I know this well I used to live in Astoria.

It is a super-80 passenger jet.

Impressive.
I live and work under the Heathrow flight-path and see alot of strange lights, planes resembling UFOs but this seems too whole and fat to be a plane.
The shading from the setting sun seems quite accurate too.

Used PSP9 and the Glowing Edges filter to try and give a better idea of the shape:

Doesn't look like a plane to me.

Hehe! No tricks, honest. All digi cameras store extra data within individual pictures. With the right software, it's easy to extract. I used ACDSee, but I believe there are a few other programs that can show this information too.

There's a good article about it here:

It looks real similar to the O'Hare photos. It's a little hard to see but it is interesting. One thing though, The photo background doesn't look at all like Howard Beach NYC, there aren't any rolling hills and certainly no forests.

Maybe just a bird. The part that resembles a dome is actually the lighter coloured background cloud. That's my interpretation at the moment...

thanks for the photo.
