What they discovered is the Earth just really sucks.

Sorry I couldn't help it, sometimes we all get so intense on these boards it's nice to just lighten things up a bit.

Regards,

RT

This section is meant for serious discussion of science and technology
related topics.

It is therefore meant to be serious.

If you wish to make jokes than do so in the BTS Humour section.

This thread should be trashed or atleast closed as it is a waste of space.

Thats not true. Infact, they've found that its actually an anti-gravity source. It blows.

We do need a fun section we can get a bit heated here i agree.
To me the idea of the post was that the title had a catch to it and was interested in what the catch was. Guess the catch was US PEOPLE. No not USA AMERICAN PEOPLE. Did they think Gravity did not exist in particle form or something? I don't know but it could have meant gravity does not exist in this universe but in another dimention connected to ours. If you know what I mean and had an educated explanation.

In the spirit of scientific detante I would like to suggest that perhaps we come together and agree that it is scientifically proven that the Earth boths sucks and blows.

There everyones happy and I think we've really accomplished something here today people.

God I feel so alive!

Spiderj

Fun thread.

OK! I have really really don't my research and found the Spider is correct the earth does both Suck and Blow, at the same time.

Any other theories?

Alright you people talking about gravity just really gets me down

I wonder though
if the earth really sucks and blows, do you think this is what causes earthquakes?
The earth sucks just brings me down to earth

We have a joke in Texas like this:

Know why Texas doesn't slide off into the Gulf? Because Oklahoma sucks.

Ironically, i am a raging Sooner fan, so i never really thought it was that funny.

But wait, if the Earth both Sucks and blows... wouldn't that create a negation in the apathetic fields and cause the central mass of the middle earth to both expand and contract at the same time? Perhaps this truly does cause earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, Richard Simmons, and cold snaps.

Besides, everyone knows that there is no suck, only inverse blow.

I know you said it jokingly, but there is a lot of truth to it.

The attraction we feel to Earth is simply cos we don't get out enough.

I have woken up on some pretty interesting planets of late. Oddly on these occasions gravity really didn't really concern me... Neither did my lack of clothing.
