Terror Cells in USA: War on Terror Fraud

I'd like to see the rebuttal from the prosecution. That only took the defense's positions into account, so is it ever so slightly possible that some omissions may have been made?

if you research into most of the supposed "terrorists" that have been arrested under the terrorism act, particularly in UK you will see that almost all of them are let go due to lack of any evidence that they are terrorists. Of course their arrests are great headline grabbers for the scare-mongering media and the governments, but when they are let go it is all done quitely. I saw the percentages of arrests and charges in the UK somewhere before, and they numbers that were released were ridiculously high. Obviously when they arrest those guys they don't have any hard evidence to go on, despite the big headlines to the contrary at the time.

Just like in the intel and special operations worlds, you often hear of the failures, but rarely do you hear about the successes(because they operate low key and would prefer to not have the publicity). Because of that, it's hard to really argue because the supporting evidence isn't available to the general public. I realize that answer won't satisfy many, but do you really think we should not try to look for terrorist threats?

This thread isn't argueing that we shouldn't be looking for terror threats. The point is that often the government through the media release BIG stories about how they have caught "terrorists", yet the guys are mostly released later without charge. The fact is the government knows they aren't actually terrorists at all, they just want the arrests for the headlines and the fearmongering. How can they justify arresting these guys and being certain they are terrorists only to release them all later. And you don't make these arrests and go on tv talking about it as a great success without having enough evidence. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. The war on terror is a fraud, and the real terrorists are those in power. All they are interested is the fear-mongering. Scary headlines, now give up more liberties so we can protect you from "terrorists".
And if there really were home-grown terrorists wanting to cause major damage it would be almost impossible to stop them leaving bombs on busy streets in the cities very frequently. But you don't see it happening, do you?
