When eventually US troops return home should the above named be tried for war crimes, lying to the American people and proffitering from war.

As more and more Americans are voicing their views on the morality, legaltiy of Iraq2 should the above be tried for said crimes.

They and others told the American people that Saddam was behind 9/11 he was not, they said he had WMD's he did not. Besides the countless dead in Iraq and those who will die after America's departure, shold the above be tried for the deaths of all combatents, the murder of 3k plus on 9/11 and nots lets forget how many Iraqi civillians?

Would not this process be the best thing to happen, although traumatic for the country it would be a clearing out of the villany and would send a clear message to future egos and the neocons.

Would such an action claw back some of the support that the US has lost on the Global stage and send a message to the World that America and its people are not just schoolyard bullies and braggarts.

Or they could be made to live in,the newly "liberated" country of Iraq.
For the rest of their lives.

I would add Tony Blair, the UK prime minister to the list of those who should be tried.

So what war crime would you charge them with? If it was for lying, would there be any people in government at all?

Amen to that.

The only problem with that statement is "when the troops return home". That is because they are going to be there for the next XX amount of decades, and if we had to wait until then, it would never happen.

I think eventually, even without all troops back on home soil, they will be tried in some capacity.
