The number 23 along with numbers like 6, 13, and 11 have long been linked to unusual coincidences.
Some say that because it is a low number and often appears in media and is probably no more significant than 22 or 24.
Others believe that 23 is far more significant.

The earth's axis is on a 23-degree tilt.
Two divided by three is 0.666
The plane carrying Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper crashed on February 3rd (2/3).
William Shakespeare, Johnny Carson and River Phoenix each had their birth and death on the 23rd day of a month.
Kurt Cobain died in the year 1994 (1 + 9 + 9 +4 = 23)
Humans have 23 chromosome pairs
The Knights Templar had 23 Grand Masters.

Find the 23rd letter on your keyboard. That is the letter “W” now look above it. 23 again.
Also “W” has 2 points down and 3 points up.

This Friday the movie “The number 23” hits theaters and I’m sure it will trigger many people into noticing 23 in their lives.

Please use this thread to share your own experience with 23 and any other related information you may have.

agreed that the number 23 is freakishly prevalent but this one example I find somewhat ridiculous. thousands upon thousands of people die each year and using one celeb as an example and then adding the 4 digits of the year is silly. What about the more famous people who died in every other year? wouldn't they then negate the theory?

The 300 looks like a much better movie.

Dr. Pepper boasts 23 ingredients.

Michael Jordan wore #23.

Freaky indeed.

I was 23 in 2004
I turned 25 in 2006

2+3 - 2 + 0 + 0 +4=1
2+5 - 2 +0+0+6=1

There is only one me.

and M is a 3 on its side, and an E is a 3 backwards
there are two letters in me, thus 2 3's

OMGARSH!

I'm sure many people find all of it ridiculous.

Which theory is that exactly?
I've only listed some places where 23 has appeared.
I suppose the date could be more relevant when other 23's in Kurt Cobain live is brought forth. He was born in 1967 (1 + 9 + 6 + 7 = 23).

I agree but lets keep this thread's topic to numerology and not BTS movies.

saying Cobain's year of death ties into the 23 enigma is silly because I can counter with Regan died in 2004 which adds up to 6.

as I said, I do find the 23 thing curious but some of the examples people use shouldn't be used, that's all.

2+3=5
I'm 25.

5 goes into 25, five times.

2+5=7
2+3=5
7+5=12
MAJESTIC 12!

and then
1+2=3

however
7-5=2

so then 2 and 3 AGAIN

I am the devil, there I said it, cat is out of the bag.

That is quite a good thread Implosion.

I think we can use that Skunk Works thread instead of this one.
