As for actual art, I'd have to say Dali, or theres a artist with the name of Bacon...I found some of his artwork n 5th grade, actually, and never learned more about him. His painting were wonderful, one depicting a shadow with a dog on a leash on a sidewalk, and another of the crucifixion. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

I Love R.S Connett. His work is amazing, but twisted.

Loren Ries for sure hands down, no formal training and mesmerising. She is a mentally ill artist from Australia.I think they call that Art Brut? not sure. but I'm taking some time to check out the artists mentioned on this thread.
thanks for creating it.i dont know how to post a link to her art

I have so many favorites! Especially in todays world because it is FULL of fantasy art. I don't know who all did the artwork for dragonlance, but they were one of my all time favorites. As well as the animators who did pink floyd's the wall, the movie.

But my ALL TIME favorite Artist is Frank Frazetta:

And whoever did the covers for Piers Anthony's Xanth series...they were very good too

Enjoyed it very much. The one with the Troll with his back to the viewer, evocative. The one with the man in flight powerful. I can definitely see his influence in your work. I hope this thread does not sink into the basement again, I would like to see what ATS finds wonderful in the world of art.
Thanks for the reply
