I have heard (rumours) that the Argentina was before or during Falklands war trying to modify some of the Learjets to cary Exocet missiles on pylons under the wing. The aim was to replace Super Etendard fighters, mostly destroyed by british forces.

Can anybody confirm that and add some additional info?

Add in this mix of the conversation that the Military announced back in the '90s it had a module for Stinger Missile classes that could be retro-fitted to any aircraft capable of holding the weight.

Dassault Falcons have been equipped with Exocets in the past. I do not see a reason why a Learjet cannot do the same.
