I agree with what one "witness" said.. the people should have been informed that they were doing this today.

At least people are paying attention, and letting others know quickly. For now at least. As time moves on, and things like this become regular, ie military training missions, etc. People will become complacent again.

what kind of testing do you think they were doing?

Ok, I'm in Houston but I haven't heard of this. But of course I sleep most of the day.....

I would have been able to tell what it was, but then I can identify most airplanes from far away and to be honest I'm smarter than most Houstonians...
