Its a good thing HK is making the new military the XM-8 rifle for the US. they know how to make a great gun. I love the modular design of that gun.

I think id rather have the Sig-Sauer SiG-552 Commando. That rifle is just dead sexy.
Although HK's G3 and G36 are rather appealing as well.
