That's a creepy pic. I'd like to see the actual footage. Too many times have these things been hoaxes. I have no doubt that ghosts exist.

It looks more like some kinda monster rather a ghost. That's pretty scary, keep us updated to see if it's a hoax or not.

I agree, they should make the full video available for inspection. One frame, makes it sound kinda fishy. Looks like one of the ghosts from a "Christams Carol"

Is it just me or does the hat and long coat make him look like a fireman?

Well, one of the theories about ghost claim that they are trapped to act out their prior behavior such as doing things that they would have done in coporial form. A type of reflex action without conscious awareness.

But then again that idea has more to do with residual energy and not so much a spirit.

here's what my Buddy had to say about the video-

"The video is much clearer than that single still frame - the doors fly open as if they've been kicked from behind, but there's nothing behind them. The figure, which has long hair and is wearing what looks like a period gown walks forward and closes the doors from the inside.

I'm always cynical about this kind of thing, and I guess it will probably turn out to be a hoax or a tour guide or something - after all why would a "ghost" bother to close the doors?

All the same, its a pretty creepy bit of footage, and Hampton Court is supposed to have more than its fair share of Specters!

One of the best ones is Edwards nurse, Sibell Penn: "(she) died in 1562. She was buried in Hampton Church, but her tomb was disturbed in 1820, when the church was torn down. Afterward, strange noises were heard coming from the southwest wing of the Palace. Workmen traced the noises to a brick wall, where they found a hidden room containing a spinning wheel just like the one that Sibell had always used"

There's at least three other supposed ghosts there, so if you're ever going to catch one on CCTV, Hampton Courts going to be the place!"
