Underground Plumbing System Found on Mars

It's all about the well timed, gradual release of known information.

There is underground ice on Mars,

Then,

There was flowing water as little as 7 years ago,

Then,

There are tunnels in which water flowed underground,

Soon,

There is definite microbial life around these locations,

Then,

There seems to be complex life in these locations,

Then

Well whadya know, there's intelligent life on Mars, go figure.

Well, I'm personally more apt to believe there was life on mars and most likely still is. At least microbial life and plant life. The underground caverns are quite the place to make a life if your an amoeba, unfortunalty be so radical as the weather is the cave would have to be right on the cusp of the wram spot where perma frost does not reach and the planets warmth is prevalent.

At that point life would have no problem existing, the only catch i can think of is that it would not be a very diverse ecosystem within one of these caves as there would only be a finite amount of space and food.

as for intelligent life, go ahead and speculate or doubt as to whether it existed or exists. I hope there is none because we will probably need to either
A) mine minerals and other valuable things from mars or
B) colonize mars at the rate we choose to consume things on earth.

Either way, it's not new but it is interesting>
