I know some of you are going to come on here and say this isnt survival. Well you would be wrong. No its not a right at this moment survival but it is a long term survival skill that needs to be learned. That being said follow the link and have fun

I always laugh when I hear about soap making coupled with fight club references. I always wondered if soap making was worthwhile. I guess I'll have to find out.

There are numerous ways to make homemade soap.
There are also many ways to make the soap er less smelly
Here is a google link from a search that I did on the subject.

We have both goats as well as a few cows woth of which we plan to use the fat from their milk to make soap. We also have some chamomile to add to make the soap better.
Be careful of using Lye it is extremely caustic!

My dad decided to make soap in his garage last summer.

He even made laundry detergent, much to my mother's dismay, and the Maytag repairman's delight.
