i have to agree with theNEO on the bow and arrow and the sword. they are both beautiful, majestic weapons, that have remained with us for centuries. swords especially, are so prone to being gorgeous, with most cultures involving swords having a number of rituals revolving around the weapon, the least of which being decoration.

however, i cannot help but say that the atomic bomb is the most beautiful weapon. ignoring its sheer power, which is, as we all know, immense, the image of a mushroom cloud, plooming up, its the very epitomy of a terrible, fascinating weapon. add the power in there, which is fully captured by the cloud, and youve got the perfect recipe.
