I agree they should be able to wear whatever religious symbol they like.

I don't think, however, that they should be persecuted for it (as a Satanist might be for wearing an inverted pentacle.) Nor do I think it should be an excuse to "convert" other students.

In the school i go the muslim girls are allowed to weat those shalls which i think is completely unaceptable. It should either be everyone wears the same or everyone wears whatever the want.

While I don't condone religion, I am pro-choice, on just about everything. Just as a kid should be able to wear a t-shirt with a tequila advertisement on it, they should also be able to wear one with religious symbols. Now, there are limits to free speech, though. We all know that. Kids probably shouldn't be allowed to wear things that make what could be offensive statements on sensitive matters, just as people don't go around wearing clothes with porn on them. There are always social tolerances to deal with.

I want someone to show me where in the constitution it says there is to be a seperation of church and state.

In the constitution, it says: The government shall make no law regarding religion.

So yes, I think they should be able to wear whatever they want. They should be able to pray if they want. The government should not be allowed to say you cannot express your religion how you feel fit. THAT IS WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS BASED ON!

I agree with you. The students should have the right.

Once I seen this shirt that said

Student - "God why do you let bad things happen in my school"
God - "Concerned student I'm not allowed in your school."

That hit me pretty good.
