It was in the "Bild" today, gave Google a try and found this video:

Is it just an unknown lifeform, a shark, or really an alien? It DOES look strange, in any case. I hope it's not an alien, he could have some friends down there ;-)
Village residents from the Rostov region of Russia caught a weird creature
two weeks ago after a strong storm in the Sea of Azov. The shark-looking
creature was producing strange squeaky sounds. The fishermen originally
believed that they had caught an alien and decided to film the monster with
the help of a cell phone camera. The footage clearly shows the creatures'
head, body and long tail. The bizarre catch was weighing almost 100
kilograms, the Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.

However, ufologists and scientists were greatly disappointed when they found
out that the fishermen had eaten the monster. They said that they were not
scared of the creature so they decided to use it as food. One of the men
said that it was the most delicious dish he had ever eaten.

Stingray? Yeah, probably just that:

And this is what a sturgeon looks like:

That "alien" fish sure looks different, if you ask me. Maybe a relative.

I am with you on this one. It looks almost like the head of a sturgeon and the tail of a sting ray. Go on Google earth and look that the wilderness of Russia. Their are so many lakes and rivers that any different type of animal might be still out their without the rest of world knowing anything about it.

^^^^

I guess that this thread (and all the others with the same alien/mer-person/unknown creature) can be closed.

This matches quite perfectly. I'm leaning more toward Devil Fish than Guitar Fish.

And it's not an alien! What are you people thinking?
