Just another "message/warning" to Iran, or is it preporation or just another test?Well afterall the U.S tested a ICBM the other day,so I suppose Israel figured this was a good a time as any to do one of their own.My opinion is that they are just getting ready for a retalitory strike from Iran, after Israel and the U.S bomb them.

Israel has carried out a successful test of its Arrow missile, the defence ministry has said.

(BBC)-One of the missiles was fired at night and destroyed what Israeli media said was a target similar to Iran's long-range Shahab-3 missile.

The test took place as Iran celebrated the 28th anniversary of its Islamic revolution.

"This evening's successful test reinforces Israel's readiness... against external threats at the extremes of its operational envelope," said Israeli Defence Minister Amir Peretz.

The Arrow missile was fired from a base south of Tel Aviv at a missile launched from an aircraft over the eastern Mediterranean at a high altitude.

This was the first test of the Arrow missile to be conducted at night.
Israeli public television called the test a "message to Iran".

Lets be real.

One, Israel is always upgrading and testing these new upgrades.

Two, clearly it is a response to the TWO recent missell tests.

Three, I think this one was actually for local Israeli consumption.
Sort of a reassuring that they are safe with all the rhetoric flying.
Basically, we can shoot down all those big new shinny missiles Iran has (offensive).

And that's the "slight little problem" with the Israeli Regime

Even if Iran and an hypothetic Arab coalition were to "wipe Israel off the map"

Wheter you think Ahmadinejad was talking only about the Regime or the whole people

Let's say you have the bulk of the 1st Arab Army closing in on Tel Aviv, Clearly for Israel; the War Is Lost, Even the US starts withdrawing their support

What are you to do? Hell... Bring em down with you

They will order the launch of their Strategic Missiles

Even if only a few are able to get off the ground, with the Wind and the Sand, the whole middle east will be contaminated for the next Century or so

Victory would have a bitter Taste wouldn't it?
