Cool huh! How would you like to spend 25K just for a dinner?

News Source

"It's really amazing," said one diner, Sophiane Foster, a wealthy Cambodian who lives in Malaysia, as she eyed the dinner's eighth course — a "pigeon en croute with cepes mushrooms." "But I can't finish it. Your senses can only appreciate so much

There's more,

The wine alone cost more than $200,000, Griffiths said. "Just to have one of these would be a great treat. To have 10 of them in one evening is the sort of thing that people would kill for."

200k just for wine. Well, for this price, I can already buy a fabulous private house.

Bah...

I like steak and taters.

You could stuff one or both with a thousand dollars worth of shaved truffles, or the reproductive offal of an aquatic mammal, and follow it up with a foie gras milkshake, but what's the point.

Eat to live.

You know, though... if I had the money to blow, I could see spending huge amounts of money for just the right steak and taters.

How often do you go for a nice steak, and it's either overdone or underdone? If it was guaranteed to be JUST right... oh, that'd be great.

That said, I can think of MANY better things to do with spare money.

Just about anything "en croute" is good, especially Beef Wellington.

That being said, I don't care who's cooking the meal, it ain't worth 25k.

Peace
