At the right side of the screen at the bottom of everyones profile there is a gray (or in some cases gold) bar. The bar is below the members points. Some members have a longer bar than others. If you place your mouse pointer over the bar a number is revealed. Can somebody please tell me what this bar represents. I checked in the handbook could not find the meaning of this bar.

it is an indication of post count (length)

if you hover your mouse over it(IE) or right click (Firefox) you will see the post count.

also an indicator of applause count (color)

the more applauses you receive the more red it gets.

staff has a orange/goldish color bar.

There is a thread that explains it better here somewhere...

hope this info helps.

Post Bar Information

The information you desire can be found in the link above. It basically sums up what Mechanic has previously said. The images of the post bar's are displayed though.

I hope it helps.

This might be a good time to suggest a link to that thread be put into the ATS Handbook, for easier reference.

I tried using the search feature to locate it (that thread) , to no avail.

edit to add:

Or perhaps that thread could be "stickied" to the top of that forum to make it easier to find, as an alternative.
