Hi there,

Maybe one of the staff could help me with a technical problem. I deleted all my subscribed threads, and now MyATS page won't work anymore. All I see is " Unknown column 'z' in 'where clause' ". New threads I've posted on/subbed to won't show up either.

If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

Best,
SteveR

To help, if this is a new problem.

I am running

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.9) Gecko/20061206 Firefox/1.5.0.9
and had no problem after deleting my subscribed threads.

Since I just discovered that feature anyway, didn't seem like I needed to worry much about deleting them all.

Hope that helps. Is this what you're running, SteveR?

Hi Niteboy,

Thanks, but this problem occurs in both IE and Firefox.

clearly a SQL error, not something you can fix. Got a feelin' it's admin side.

Thought as much, I tried contacting staff about this and got no reply.

Surely someone admin side can help?

Hate to be the one to break the news.

but Steve, I think you broke it. (Your MyATS Page)

Just kidding, of course. I'm sure S.O. will have this fixed as soon as he hears about it.

I just deleted all of my subscribed threads, as a test.

All seems well for me.

Have you tried going to a thread and using the "Subscribe" button?

Thanks for the sacrafice, Mechanic

I've tried lots of things, that included, doesn't work at all. Keep getting "unknown column Z in where clause."

Oh well..

Just out of curiosity have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and restarting all your browsers, it might be trying to apply cached info to the SQL database and is not finding it because you deleted it.

Playing Favorites

I just deleted all my subscribed threads for the first time since I became a member.

There were so many of them, I couldn't even bring up the management screen.

I just didn't want to lose track of all those cool threads.

Now I'm starting over.

But I'm not seeing this bug. MyATS is working fine.

What happens if you log out, kill cookies and log back in?

Thanks shizzle, but no luck here.

Sent a U2U to S.O. though, hopefully he can take a look at this.

Because you removed all your subscribed forums, and the code never anticipated that.

I added one forum back to your list, it should be fine now.

Steve, you didn't tell us that you deleted your subscribed threads AND subscribed Forums there....

At least now we all know not to do that.

LOL, I see. Thank-you S.O. Just a question, is not possible to have no subscribed forums?

I just never anticipated anyone would use the MyATS without having subscribed forums... since that's the whole point!

I guess MyATS would be rather boring without subscribed forums, now that you mention it.

True, I shall have to find some different, more stimulating ones.
