Arial Attack of Area 51

Guys i've just had the greatest idea.

now i believe that you can buy surplass milatry aircraft to use as warbirds. well what if we got hold of some F14s, which have only just been decommisioned, some F111s and some helicopter attacker/gunships and go in there as escort for a reconesonse flight by a F14?

just an idea i had as they would only have time to launch the helicopters and not get anything else up in the air. to get past any missle defence frids and trackers, we launch multiple waves at different different points with jammers on full, and get in take photos and film and then get out of there and show the world whats going on in there!

just an idea i had not a real plan though just wondering from a tactical and also practical point of view, can any of it be done?

No matter what plane you had access to and how you got over area 51 in the first place, I doubt you'd have time to gather anymore information than you can already find in publically available satellite images.

This strategy is certainly not something to be recommended.

i wondered what would happen if american planes with american people flying them flying over american teritry thats being made and operated by american money flew over area 51?

would the air force fire on thier own counrty man when they are armed?

You would still be crossing into restricted airspace, with all the legal ramifications involved. The courts would not look kindly on such an act IF anyone in your 'civilian Air Force' survived.



Of course they would. They'd only be doing their job. From their POV, you would be seen to be no different from a terrorist attack.

There's also this rule in the T&C's of ATS;

2e.) Illegal Activity: Discussion of any illegal activities such as drug use, drug paraphernalia, hacking, sexual relations with minors, etc. are strictly forbidden.

You ARE discussing illegal activity by promoting an incursion into restricted airspace.

N.O.R.A.D. basically eliminates almost any possibility of an air attack.

I know you think that a posted disclaimer after the fact
stating that you were joking somehow indemnifys you
from the trouble you just got yourself in by suggesting
in effect a photographic air raid of a secret military base,
but I worry, for your sake, that you have just invited
the attention of the authorities that probably lurk around
sites such as this, using a Carnivore type of search program
to sniff out such type of writings...

I know you are half-serious (the plan is so preposterous
that you are either naive or very young to think you could
get you hands on such hardware, much less find people
to fly them and actually execute such a plan- where do you

we know that they shoot dwon aircraft held by forign terrorists, but what about their own?

Ok, as for the T&C's, If I said that I was going to go and take my private ufo and rain hellfire on a major city, would that be a violation? I think that that rule is more meant for REALISTIC illegal activities. I HIGHLY doubt that anyone has enough money to support a small civilian air force. He could change it and say that I am going to go with my alien friend Zoltar to do a fly-by of Area 51 in his UFO, snap some photos, then fly out, would they shoot me down? Just think that sometimes the T&C's are taken too seriously. As far as to wether they would shoot down their own,

1. They would have no way of knowing for sure your American

2. Unfortunatly, just because you are American, does not mean that you can't be a terriost.

Well first of all, theres no freaken way you'd magically get your hands on some F-14's or F-111's. The Government would shut you down fairly quickly before you even got to fly them.

If you SOMEHOW got in the air, unless you knew exactly when a test flight were taking place, I doubt you'd see anything at all from flying around Area 51, just an airfield and some 40 year old airliners.... I think that you might be shotdown, not by SAMs, but by military jets, I mean, take a look at Area 51 on google maps, I think you'll find there are no SAM sites or AAA.

What's the military meant to think? A bunch of F-111's and F14's flying into your military exercises?

If somehow you wern't shotdown, when you landed you would have your photos stolen and you would most likely be put in prison forever.

To the public: Your strange flying would be written off as a Military exercise.

If you came accross of some REAL secret, such as Aliens and what not, THEN I would start fearing for your life.

Anyway, it is DEFINATELY not a good idea to post this on a website. It not only breaches ATS's rules, but I think the authorities won't like it either. You should of wote - "What IF a terrorist infriltrated Area 51 in a F-14?."
