Seems to be a fantasy to most men. It lets them flash back to the past, or to some it just signifies hotness. My girl (who's 24), puts on a blue black plaid school girl outfit when I've been real good can testify.

But I think the ad was primarily to draw in younger men, 14-18. That the market that the advertisers want. Get then when they are young.
