If it really was a meteorite, but it sounds to me like their just guessing at this stage. it should be interesting to see the outcome of the investigation.

`ulkapind' (unknown flying object) hit them around 9 a.m., police said.

"The matter is under investigation. We know that there was a blast but looking at the crater it does not seem that it happened due to a meteorite," a Bundi police official was quoted as saying by IANS.

ulkapind, wow ... an indian term for UFO ... great! I hope it doesn't come out to being a flying saucer because then we'd have to watch out for them coming to maul us.
