Anyone else see it yet?
I saw it last night at midnight, and saw the other two on the big screen before hand, Trilogy Tuesday. I'm not gonna say much about the movie, aside that it was #ing great.

Just got back from seeing it. 3.5 hours but seemed to go by really quickly despite some scenes that dragged on (anything with Sam comes to mind).

Awesome battle scenes as was to be expected. Very nicely done.

I saw the masterpiece yesterday. "Movie" is hardly the right word... in fact, there are few "movies" that can compare to this soaring achievement. It was a deeply satisfying experience for any fan of the books, as long as you can let go concerns of "purity" of the original story and enjoy someone's interpretation of the second-most-read books behind the Bible. One thing was very clear, these actors were deep within the experience of their characters and no longer acting. A very rare thing.

I hope Jackson gets a lifetime achievement award just for these three movies.

Just saw it for a second time today... awesome. Everything that overwhelmed you the first time, still does. The charge of the Rohirrim is still my favorite part... well... except Aragorn's line to the Hobbits during his coronation ceremony... simply not fair to those trying to keep a dry eye! This, combined with the first two, is a masterpiece of movies, just as the novels are a masterpiece of literature. Thank you Peter. [Edited on 25-12-2003 by SkepticOverlord]

"Hail to the King Baby!!"

Peter Jackson is a Genius!!

Return of the King kicked so much ass I am still in awe of it!!

Lord of the Rings is the best Movie Trilogy ever!!

I'm just a little sad however that it's over.

Atleast, until the extended box set comes out that is!!

See ya soon Hobbiton!

I finally saw it tonight! These were the movies I've been waiting my whole life for! I can't imagine a more brilliant or beautiful depiction of middle-earth and it's saga!
I could die happy right now!
