Influential education institute (ETS) Educational Testing Service reported that US is under threat of entitled "America's Perfect Storm".
According to its president, the society could be swamped unless we do something about it. According to ETS President Kurt Landgraf.

WASHINGTON -- A "perfect storm" of falling literacy, the changing structure of the economy and rapid immigration threatens to sharply cut US competitiveness and lower living standards, according to a report released Wednesday.

The report by influential education institute ETS argues that the education system is not preparing enough people for the changing economy and job market, risking "dire consequences" for the United States.

We're losing manufacturing jobs to other countries, particularly in Asia. ... Our wage rates and social security benefits make us globally non-competitive. We've got to do something to improve productivity so we can bring back jobs to the middle class into America.

According to the report there are three factors:

1. Falling literacy levels and a low high school graduation rate
2. A quickly changing structure of jobs in the economy driven by globalization
3. Sweeping demographic changes resulting from high levels of immigration

So this is a prediction based on an educated study.

Whether this one will become a reality or not is still something to be awaited. Or should Americans really have to look into this seriously & start doing something about it today that can dramatically change the course of the future?

No kidding. The US economy is on the edge by design. The country is near bankrupty, and Joseph Sticklet announced that an economic crash comparable to the great depression will hit in the next 20 months or so, leading to the NAU and the amero.
