I think Bush is genuinely trying to make this work out, but everything he does just runs America further into the ground. There's supposed to be a system of checks and balances in the American government and I believe they need to intervene before something immensely catastrophic happens. Not that I'm downplaying Iraq, Iran and previous North Korea issues, but there could be worse situations if a nuclear power feels they are backed into corner with absolutely no escape in the future.

Making it work out? This guy is a complicit corporate criminal.
Look at his track record for past endeavors,I rest my case. The only thing this guy has been successful is give the top percent of wealth class more wealth & free reign to hammer the rest of america. That's it.

And as being for the troops? This m.f. cut more of the budget for the V.A. than any other administration. Republicans and Conservatives got played on this one too. They aren't for the troops. How many hospitals have they closed down in the past year?

Why the HELL is this not hard to understand? 99.999999 percent of most Bush supporters aren't ever going to be benefit to this tax break.

The govt has never been BIGGER under this president.

Are we Americans paying that much in taxes?

How about some of that money to pay my daughters education and many other American students educations.

I guess as usual China, Japan and England will come to the rescue to bail us out of the debt.

We are digging a hole and is not way to come out when our competitors now turned bankers start pulling the strings.

Many Americans don't even understand that these countries now finance nearly 100% of our new debts, wars, tax cuts, social programs and infrastructure.

While US swims on debt and keep asking for money . . .

Japan and China have each accumulated approximately $1 trillion dollars of currency reserves thru their balance of trade surplus with us. They can now use this money to buy any strategic company that they want to own and control. Most of our companies are for sale daily on the open stock market.

Yes let keep feeding the giant octopus that is call our national debt.

I call all elections:
"Diablo or Diablos wife" because I have no real words to sum it up other that "two sides of the same coin, take your pick, foot to the nuts or foot up your rear." Take either one and you get the same impression.
Last I heard the USA makes about $1.7 trillion USD a year income, no idea how they got 2.9 trillion.

As for the hole we are in, the hole is over 12 foot deep not the usual 6ft deep coffin hole. We have a L-O-N-G way to go to get out of it, and it just keeps getting deeper, why? There are THREE people in the hole, one is digging the hole with a MOLE, #2 is sayings its not happening, and #3 is trying to climb out while #2 pulls them back in saying your wrong, there is no hole.
Goes back to the frogs in the pot of water, we are near boiling point here.

He would be Atila the Hun if he could get away with it. Why don't they let America have open town hall presidential debates with unscreened questions? We did have that at one time,people forget about that. And over the years it's been chipped away? Every single question these canididates get is so screened I think I'm watching American Idol.

Remember George Bush Sr. had a debate moment where he couldn't relate with the American people when a audience member asked him how he related to the american people. He didn't have a answer and that cost him. It was a critical moment. He looked at his freaking watch and realized at that second, "I don't know what it's like to be an american in the climate in it is today" That was it.




Instead people make excuses for why we can't speak truth to politicians. It's almost like american people have sadist tendencies. A radio host by the name of Thom Hartmann could get alot of democratic high profile senator/congressmen on his radio show via his friend Senator Bernie Sanders. But Thom doesn't want them. You know why he doesn't want them? Because he said when he had them on when he asked them questions that were not the par that he would get calls from the chief of staff immediately after saying "What the hell was that? Are you trying to make us look bad. We didn't come on for any of that"

This is what D.c. has become. These people can't handle tough questions with similar positions to theirs. and they will intimidate you if you try to pitch that way. That's what happens behind the scenes. The Phone rings and someone else is warned.
That's why so much news goes in the buzzsaw.

On the other hand, Senator Sanders fields any question from anyone for a hr every week on Friday at Noon live on the radio. He takes his freaking Lunchbreak for time out for us to hear what we have to say. Bernie is a proud socialist democrat. And the D.L.C. can't stand that a senator is a outspoken socialist. He earned his statesmanship the hard way.

Now look at Bush family. These people are afraid of anything that has some teeth and takes them to task what they engage in.

Can you imagine if the Bush Administration were instead the "The Clintons" amd they waged a conflict with Iraq. You know what would happen. Rush Limbaugh/Hannity/Hewitt/Tony Snow (because he would still be on the air)/Medved/Ingraham/Tammy Bruce/Mike Gallagher/Savage/

You know what the hell they would say? They would all get RNC talking points screaming at them to tell them to say "WAG THE DOG WAG THE DOG WAG THE DOG!!"


We'd never hear the end of it from them. "Oh My god Bill Clinton how could he do this. Saddam was not a immediate threat to America. How could he do this to our military and our soldiers? What can the democratic congress do? All they can is try to prevent cuts from necessary programs. This president has full executive power because the Republicans gave it to them. But they didn't even think if Hillary becomes President. she gets power she will have the same executive authority that this President has.

Congress controls the purse. If they don't like the budget, they can reject it, or any particular part of it.

MG, thanks for the info about Thom Hartman and Bernie Sanders. I didn't know about that particular incident, but I've heard/read other similar stories. I've even heard that certain members of Congress have been stalked by the same guy.

MG, is that not the purpose of the media ANYWAY? To "buzzsaw" all news and report on who has pimples and who doesnt? Then how having pimples will reduce your societal standing to the rank of "slob" so you have to take anti-pimple pills and use anti-pimple cream? Then how if you do not drive the BMW 2007 moddle you will die poor and lonely?
