I knew it was a mistake to come into a sponsored forum. No offence to ATS or the OP, I mean the bills have to be paid, but I can't take threads seriously when they are started just to sell something.

Enjoy

The Orb Debate

As a paranormal investigator myself, I have studied orbs as a phenomena for some time, and years of experiments have proven to me that there are cases where the orb shows what appears to be an "intelligence" for this reason I thought I would make a documentary DVD so that others can see the results of this research.

OK, I'm back...couldn't stay away.

I'd like to see some evidence of these intelligent (or seemingly so) orbs. Can you share anything with us?

p.s. When is the DVD coming out?

The evidence

Although it's going to sound like a sales pitch, the "evidence" is on the DVD which will be available from April via Reality Entertainment!

Smartie, baby, the way I see it everyone in the whole paranormal gig is getting their cut.

The perceived freedom and cheapness of the Internet aint really putting the beans on the table as I see it.

Maybe I am old fashioned but I do like to have a hard copy in my hands (ooh eer missus). When I download some itunes gear first thing I do is put it on disk. To me there is something about buying into the knowledge too.

I do not know Nomad personally, I believe I met him once upon a time, and I do not agree with everything that he has said or done but listen to his show and you know he gives all guests a fair hearing. I could not do what he does without mouthing off or creasing up with laughter. This for me is enough to give the man a fair hearing. I for one will be buying the DVD and the book "The Dead Are Talking" (nice plug that Nomad worth a tenner?) even if its just to cheese off his ex

The Weird Phenonema gig needs loads of luvverly spondoolees thrown at it. Bill Gates is fleecing most of the West and not setting up a Paranormal Investigating Foundation and personal funding and good will can take you so far. So if someone has to sell to stay in the game so be it. It is a shame that filthy cash comes into it but the establishments and administrations have loads of it to keep the Status Quo the Status Quo.

Yes sometimes I feel some are in it for the money, I know that I do have a little jealousy that I do not have the time, inclination and opportunity to make a living from it. We should not begrudge others happiness, I believe.
Anyway what price a book or DVD that MAY change an aspect of your perception of death and life? Lets face it, people buy an Album for one track that they will forget about next year or next month!!!

Go to any of the relevant sections in Waterstones there are all sorts of dipsy doodle, crackpot ideas and schemes. Maybe some of the crazy hyothesis are right. Time and money needs to be chucked at it and I can't see Bob Geldoff putting on an international Live Aid type gig to sponsor it, besides what would you call it Life After Death Aid, Disclosure Project Aid the names aint snappy

I see no problem selling DVDs and Books here on Nomads forum...I would draw a line though if he went door to door selling Paranormal Clothes Pegs or Alien Lucky Lavendar like some Paranrmal Pykie

Hiya

Thanks for the kind words - much appreciated.

Some years ago, I admit I was a fairly wealthy man with an above average ego and probably not a very nice person, but that changed when I lost everything after the divorce. The courts ruled that my ex should keep the house and the money and I should keep the debts lol! So I declared myself bankrupt, a voluntary move to sort out what had become an intolerable situation for me. I was discharged from bankruptcy after just seven months as the administrators could see that this was through no fault of my own. (My ex meanwhile had to buy out the bankruptcy to retain ownership of the marital home lol!)

These days, I make a living through owning a number of Internet radio stations, but it is not a LOT of money it is just enough to get by. My other half works full time to help meet the bills, and the book and the DVD's are just ways of helping fund the continued research I do into strange phenomena. But I am MUCH HAPPIER than I ever was when I had loads of money!

I have found that there are other things in life that do not require lots of money or a "be better than my neighbour" attitude, and these days I do not have a big ego - I just try to be as nice as I can to everyone lol!

So there you go - i've opened my heart a little today to give you an inside look at the man behind the postings lol!

Incidentally, the book documents not only my research and findings, but also my rollercoaster ride from sceptic to believer, my marriage breakdown, affairs and even a "suicidal" period! It is much more than just a paranormal book - it shows everyone the real me!

So no, in answer to the questions, I am no longer "in it for the money" - I am in it for a voyage of discovery and a quest to explore the stranger things in this universe!

OK. Here goes, back in 2005, not so long ago, I know, I took some snaps whilst on holiday in Florida, (Disney World Animal Kingdom Lodge to be exact), anyway when I viewed back one in particular this is what was on the picture. Now people have given all sorts of reasons as to what this is ranging from dust to water droplets etc etc BUT I took a few snaps together in average weather outside (so how can it be dust?, no rain either) and this only shows on one of them. If you look closely the ‘ORB’ is moving UPWARDS towards the top left (if this makes any difference as to what it is or not I don’t know).

THIS IS A GENUINE PICTURE not enhanced or altered in any way whatsoever.

Your thoughts would be appreciated. Seriously.

i say its intelligent dust particle (I.D.P.).

as i recall, back in the 2005 pink was 'in', so your I.D.P. is fashion contious as well.

and another thing on I.D.P.'s; they are extremely dangerous. enough of them can suffocate you, so be prepared for that when you go investigating.

I.D.P.s have a system of brainwashing know to humans as 'common cold'. you probably had it recently.

now ontopic, orbs are interesting but nothing more than that. had a good site about various orbs. when i find it i'll post the link here.

Excellent stuff

Yea my inference was not that you were making large amounts of dosh from Paranormal Projects. Fact is my perception (like many others) is of huge amounts of dosh from sales, like those from the record industry. But listening to authors, some on your show, the million sellers don't equate to huge mansions and global wealth, the margins are smaller than popular music CD sales.

I have often heard that people with a belief in some areas of the paranormal, find that they are happier with less. If the world could learn to be happier with less, the scant resources may last us out and perhaps there would be more equality in this world. But my hopes aint high

Fashion conscious Orbs. Thanks for the heads up on the suffocation thing. I have seen a lot of these at Flour Mills

Hope you find the link I would like to see some more explanations / delusions.

Yep they are interesting, mostly camera affects and defects. Bits of dust insects etc. But I believe some have a different provenance perhaps. I am not too impressed with the single frame shot type thing. Suppose you have an image that cannot be explained away by science, it does not mean necessarily that it is a spirit. But by equal measure it also means that it could be. There is apparently moving footage out there, somewhere, I would like to see that.

One of the problems seems to be the fact that it is difficult to get a scale of such an object. Is it a bit of dust 3cm from the lens or a 6 foot ball of spirit energy on the other side of the room? I think some form of stereo photography could help, yet again its money, research and time.

From a personal viewpoint I am sure that there is more than there is.
I have on a few occasions seen such things with the naked eye. Two I remember particularly well. One was a rather fashionable red about 4 inches diameter, on a ceiling and another was like translucent bubble wrap, 5 to 6 inches diameter 6 foot away. The red one preceded an "interesting" experience later in the night. The translucent one had me talking to it!!!! Bizarre!!

About two years ago I laughed and scoffed at the paranormal. A few things I have experienced I cannot explain away with the left side of my brain, so I look to the right for inspiration. Yea OK its the imaginative bit of the brain but that is where ideas come from. All that mankind has achieved (good and bad) came from there, so I don't think I can consider it faulty

People, sniff, scoff, insult even ridicule me but I have seen somethings I cannot explain. I am not claiming they are the dead, aliens, zero point energy balls or Captain Kirk trying to Beam Down. I don't know what they are, that's what interests me. Unfortunately I was born curious...and will probably die even more curious

Thanks for the link ellroy, I have seen that before. What makes the picture I took seem a little weird to me is that the ‘Orb’ was not visible at the time and as I said it was taken outside so little chance of it being ‘dust’. What you actually see here is a blown up section from the picture (very low res too) I’ll post the original for some sort of scale.

in comparison with examples on the site, what would be your take?

and dust particles are found outdoors too. they differ from the indoor dust, but they are out there also.

Not quite sure what to make of it really, could be either, I’ll leave it in the unexplained for now. Although I have seen a programme some years ago now, and I can’t for the life of me remember its name but it concerned Orbs that were filmed moving around inside and outside. Maybe you can help with this one? Now that was REALLY interesting!
