Nice one, No i'm not Greek, I have found event viewer and there are loads of yellow errors and a few red ones, I'll try and figure out how to take a few screenshots...

Edit: Actually i'll just say, all yellow ones say "event system"
Most red ones say "application error" but a few say "MsiInstaller"

There are alot in there, but I've been trying so many times to install this...

The only thing with that player download, I can't seem to find a way to play vids on the net, I have to download them then drag the file into the box. Is there a way to get things to play on the net, videos like on Gamespot.com???

What does the codec pack do???

Chris,

Give this a shot.

[local disk]C: -->Program Files -->Windows Media Player -->mplayer2.exe

Double click, see if it opens.

If it does ... click "File" --> "Open"

Type in the following URL:
207.44.246.82...

Click Okay.

Post back with whether or not it opens, and if it plays the .wmv file

Yes mplayer 2 opens and plays the file.
Is there any way I can use that to play vids on a web page?
