Saying that this guy is a civilian is bogus. If he's a key scientist involved in the state nuclear program...he's not a civilian. Seems like a viable target to me if you want to slow down their nuclear advances.

That would still be a civilian. Iran's not at war with anyone, the man wasn't a soldier, he didn't sign up for a war, only to help Iran run a nuclear power plant. Calling him a non-civilian is stating that all the nuclear scientists in the US are fair game to anyone who opposes US.

This scientist was a civilian, and even if there was a declared war raging the Geneva convention prohibits the targeting of civilians. You know, hospitals are really vital to an enemy nation during war time as well yet they are off limits too.

Some people really have to wise up to what they are acquiescing to here! No freaking wonder the German people allowed Hitler to get away with what he did. It's the same mentality that is being showed here with the condoning of the MURDER of a CIVILIAN.

This is not even taking into account that there is STILL no proof given of an Iranian nuclear weapons program. Boggles the mind...

I agree with you that the so called war on terror is a phony moniker, but let's not pretend that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cares one whit about the niceties of the Geneva convention. This man and his islamic cronies has been torturing christians for simply believing in Jesus, among other atrocities.

Remember your precious terrorists, that you wish to protect apparently, have been targeting civilians and advocating genocide for a thousand years. Remember the genocide in Darfur. It's time to return the favor and deliver justice to the perpetrators. Moreover a nuclear scientist, working on nuclear bombs to advance the cause of the islamic death cult, can in no way be thought of as an innocent civilian, I'm sorry.
