This REPORT claims that scientist are suggesting that a catastrophic earthquake is imminent in western Canada.

Crazy stuff.


Seismologists warned that a "catastrophic" earthquake could strike the southwestern coast of British Columbia soon, Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper reported.

They've been saying that kind of stuff for many years here. Like that the "big one" will happen some day. It could be tomorrow or a 100 years from now. It's really not worth worrying about it though.

The risk that it could happen in 100 years is indeed not worth worrying

but we should keep a "plan B" in case its more like Tomorrow

I would be pissed to see a part of my country paralysed like the Verglas Crisis in Quebec
