47 tombstones found in dead man's locker

Topic started on 2-2-2007 @ 03:35 PM by Royal76

This is just creepy:

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A dead man's storage locker yielded dozens of tombstones, a macabre collection that police believe represents "a lifetime of stealing."
Some of the 47 gravestones date to the late 1800s; others are relatively recent. Police say they probably came from different cemeteries at different times.
The markers were found in the rented storage unit by the family of Clarence Horner, 54, after he died last year.

i once read this story about a spanish doctor who's wife died unexpectedly. unable to cope with her death he moved to south america and convinced himself that a young beautiful woman was the reincarnation of his wife.

He stalked her for a while but she spurned his advances. For years he tirelessly hung around waiting for his chance. eventually she contracted tuberculosis and her fiancee left her and her poor family were unable to look after her. So the doctor appears promising the family that he will care for her with all his money. They agree and he takes her to america where he does love and care for her until her dying day.

Only he doesn't stop there...

One day a paper boy was curiously watching the old man dancing in his living room with a life sized doll...then he noticed the curled lips of the doll.

Investigators found semen soaked cotton buds wedged into her vagina. Apparently he had kept her body intact with an exciting new form of formaldehyde that he had created.

He was taken to trial but when the jury heard the story of his love and his journey across the atlantic and the reincarnation rubbish...him caring for her until she died...etc. they threw out all charges and he was free to go. The judge politely informed the doctor that a change in his ways was necessary.

I don't know what happened to him after that...true story though.

I'd really like to see some proof of that "true" story.
As far as the guy with the tombstones...meh. Probably stole them.
but people collect some odd stuff.

My 2 cent,
Lex

I think i saw something like that. He was still sleeping with her stolen corpse right?

He built some kind of strange stone shrine to her
