Portable fridge

OK, I need to know if it is possible to make a portable fidge, not really a fridge, but the part to generate coldness. Just say, i want to generate codness but do it without electricity, is there some way i can charge it?
I just need the codness, it could be from something else, it doesnt nessisarily need to be from a fridge, but its the design i am looking at. Can anyone help me with this?

You could drive the compressor with a bicycle I suppose. Propane would be better. You'll need a compressor, evaporator, condensor, and refridgerant. The guts from a little bar fridge would work. Or maybe from a car or window air conditioner.
