It's a fair question.

We generally don't allow threads targeted at specific members (e.g., "Is Majic a fraud?") for various reasons, including the fact that discussions of members themselves are rarely on topic for a forum.

However, the decision to trash or close threads is left up to each staff member to decide, and within a group as large as ours (we have 45 members on staff right now), opinions may vary.

When in doubt, we generally try to avoid coming across as if we're "censoring" discussion, but that can be difficult.

In this case, I think the thread has run its course, and wish to remind all members that if they are skeptical of the claims of any member, they are welcome to discuss them in the threads where they appear.

As always, if anyone should disagree with any decision I make, I welcome your feedback either via U2U or a Complaint.

And with that, I'll exercise my discretion and close this thread.
