User CP problems

How's it going people, not sure if this is the right area... Anyway, few problems.

Firstly; the User CP keeps changing my time to GMT + 3, after numerous attempts at changing it to GMT.

Secondly; I can't seem to get an avatar up... Not sure what i'm doing wrong there. Is there some sort of avatar rule size i should be following?

Ill let a more tech savvy mod or member take care of your first question lol,

I know this might seem like a dumb question, but are you indeed clicking the "Submit" button at the bottom after making the changes?

The reason I ask is because you have two features that are not working for you.

Also post the url for your picture, if it needs resizing I can do it for you.

I am indeeding clicking submit; I know the submit button is working due to the fact my signature worked

Thankyou; The problem could be the size. I'll edit it in photoshop.

Am i correct in believeing if i upload the image to imageshack; It'll work?

Okay than it narrows it down a bit. How about your pic size??

It has to be 160 pixels wide x 320 pixels high or less and also less than 75kb in filesize.

I still don't know whats up with the time though. Several other members complain about that very same problem.

But the avatar problem I can help you fix.

edit to add, imageshack and photobucket both work very well I might add.

A headsup, although my User CP tells me it's changed the time to +3, the time is indeed correct on the forum.

So regardless of what it's telling me; the time edit worked

This is one of those quirks that we struggle to resolve. Another you may (hopefully not) come across is when you have read all your new U2Us but the button just doesn't want to stop flashing. In this case it's a matter of moving or deleting the offending U2U.

Whenever you go into your Account Settings, the timezone will always show as +3. But this doesn't necessarily mean your time is set to +3, it is just the default which pops up.

Be sure to change this to the correct timezone though if you make any other changes in the Account Settings page, or you will be on Baghdad time.
