Why haven't my BTS points changed in months?

I can't stand having a negative balance in anything, and I post and I post and I post replies (and then I try to post original news breaking type threads but someone beats me to it and my thread which gets going pretty good is forcefully killed!) Anyway, just had this happen again last week and had to get it off my chest. My BTS points are staying in the hole I guess!

I still don't really understand the points. I know you spend them to customize your account, but I really don't know how you're allowed to go negative.
I assume I'll eventually figure it out and do something neat to my avatar.

From what I understand, if you purchase something with 'bts points', but there aren't enough BTS points to cover it, but ARE enough points in other categories to cover it, then you can go into the negative.

Its the sum of all three categories that can't be negative.
