DUBAI -- A Saudi businessman and brother-in-law of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Madagascar, his brother
said on Wednesday.
Al-Arabiya quoted unspecified sources as saying the gunmen stormed a precious stones mine owned by Khalifa at dawn Wednesday and killed him, making
off with documents and other possessions.
A ministry source quoted by the state SPA news agency said Riyadh had contacted authorities in Madagascar through its embassy in Tanzania to find out
the circumstances of the killing.

It seems that this is a typical case of a murder robbery. Or is it? The number of people who raided his room (25 to 30) seems to be quite big for
such a robbery.
Stealing his belongings is one thing. But it also seems that the attack is similar to an undercover agent or military operation.
