Nothing is above the law

Today I heard on BBC news (just now actually) that Catholic adoption agencies will not be exempted from allowing homosexual couples to adopt.

Now, I appreciate everyone's beliefs, but in my humble opinion law is law. No exceptions, no exemptions, no loopholes.
While the Catholic community may be seething at this news, I am happy that the gay community have now been given a chance to have their own families, and that basic human rights have once more been granted to all.
