WOW... What an incredible coincidence!!!

On 29-1-2007 at 07:32 AM, The Coward creates a thread entitled "There is an ongoing UFO wave, (sky watch project starting today till next Monday)".

Then, on 29-1-2007 at 11:22 AM, a mere four hours later, The Coward, who "was not even looking for ufos yet" miraculously captures a "UFO" on video tape!

I must say Coward, with luck like that, if I were you, I'd start playing the lottery right away!

I'm sorry if I sound like an azz, but I'm not buying it. It's too much of a coincidence and of course, once again it's another video tape shaking like crazy so an observer can't decide if it's a space craft or a big, black, helium balloon.

My opinion is that this is just another person looking for his 15 minutes of fame by latching on to the O’Hare type UFO stories filling the internet lately.

Dude, you are right about the coincidence thing. But it is not any fake, and I am not looking for fame. There really is a UFO wave. I have just experienced the unexplainable. What made me think of this thread the very same day I capture a UFO is extremely rare and almost impossible. I know, so what can I say about that? Nothing. I showed you the video proof and that’s that. I will just keep looking for the UFOs, and if I encounter one today, it will have your username written all over it. I am gonna zoom in on it with an 8x telephoto lens, get clear footage and call your Username on film. Just so there won't be any doubts.

Whatever it is its a lot closer to the viewer than the plane that passes by.

To the OP, was it a windy day?

Sorry man. I'm a skeptic. I'm an engineer who doesn't just accept everything I'm told. I go out every night to take my damn dog for a walk and always have my eyes on the sky... I've never seen anything I'd call a UFO (of course that doesn't mean there aren't UFOs).

So, personally, I think it’s highly improbable that you start this thread then bam, because you're incredibly lucky, you not only spot a UFO but are able to tape it as well. You can understand why I'd be skeptical can't you?

If it is real... I have a couple questions:
1. Were you near an airport?
2. If so, with all the O'Hare UFO stuff, why not submit it to the local news?
3. If so, wouldn't others, including perhaps the pilot of that airplane, have seen it?
4. Did you see it fly away? Why didn't you just keep taping until it flew off?
5. Besides the video is there anything else you can tell us to make us believe it was a UFO? In your opinion, what else could it have been?
6. Was it windy... to me it looks like a helium balloon.

The wind was moderate, it was cold though, in the 40's in orlando. It was moving pretty normal at first like some aircraft do, but then it slowed down and seemed to hover. It shimmered underneath as the sun reflected off of it. After I went back for my lens it was gone.

I wish seen this thread earlier. I was thinking to post a quick thread about what I learned the other night, but being it wasn’t with my eyes I didn’t bother. However, after reading this I midis well kill two birds with one stone. I’m not an eye witness, but the actual witness in my opinion has no reason to make this up. We live right on the coast in Southern Ocean County. I have recently found out this happens to be a very active area for sightings, landings and abductions. I will research it more.

OK, back to what happened. My sister came over to visit me the other night. We were talking and with an expression on her face like she has just remembered she wanted to tell me something she said nonchalantly “I think I seen a UFO!” When she said that I was blown away because I know she has some interest in the paranormal, but I never known her to believe there could be life on other planets let alone a UFO!

She said that she was driving here in town and something caught her eye so she looked into the distance and something was falling from the sky. Her first thought was about the story she just read in the news that in the next county up they just had a meteor hit someone’s house and she thought that maybe this is just another one. She watched it and then she said it “Stopped” after a few seconds she said it started going “Straight Up” to a point she couldn’t see it anymore. She said it was not a glare on her windshield, nor was it a bird. She now believes she most likely seen a UFO.

Her news prompted me to do a quick search on the internet for any reports of sightings in our area within the past few weeks. I’ve found a few older reports, but nothing brand new. I am going to look more after I post this. As for the original post in this thread, I think my area would be the perfect area to really start watching more closely due to some interesting information.

I did read about a sighting in my town last fall, but just can’t find the information on it (still looking.) Older sightings from 1974 (abductions), 1999, 1998 and so on. One very interesting one is where a UFO was seen and after thirty minutes or so later an Army Helicopter with what appeared to be guns sticking out the front went out into the same direction the UFO was sighted. The next morning more helicopters were back in the area flying very low and it is said that they could have been searching for the craft.

Our coast guard reports they see UFO’s all the time. A famous author named Ivan Sanderson’s wrote a book called Invisible Residents, and he was from NJ. He said they are underwater here, and all over the world. I’ve heard about an abduction only a few miles from me that Bud Hopkins investigated and wrote about. 2001 a triangle shaped UFO was spotted by several people here in my town and the next town over. Also there was another sighting of a triangle UFO about 20 min’s north of me that very same year. I’ve read that there are several sightings around the lighthouse that I can easily see out of my bay window here.

There are a few things I’ve noticed since living here these past 12 years. We seem to have low power surges without heat waves and storms, our ground will shake (not often, but often enough) and this can go on for about an hour off and on. The strength is strong enough that it causes vibration on some plates I have hanging up in my home. My dog barks when this happens, and come to think of it my cats don’t like it either. I have a notebook ready for the next time this so I can keep a diary of times, dates, and so forth. Is it earthquakes? I have no idea, but I will be quick to check the seismic charts online when it does happen.

Well, with all that said I definitely will research this as I live only ½ of a mile from a Nuclear Power Plant, and I have read that UFO’s seem to be attracted to them, but how true this is I am not sure.

I understand what you mean. To be honest, I would be highly skeptical too. But what can I say? I mean it could have been anything, but I had the luck to be at the right place at the right time. I really should play the lotto

1. Yes. I live about 20 min from MCO (Orlando International Airport)

2. I was thinking about it. Actually I reported it last night to NUFORC

3. Probably? But maybe it was not an alien ship? I don't know what it was (although at times it did look saucer like), I am pissed because I could not catch it with my 8x lens.

4. No. I took a chance and lost! When I came back it was gone!

5. At first I knew it was weird. I showed it to my family and friends and they say it could be a balloon. Now, I could believe that, but it seemed pretty big. But no, I cannot say 100% sure that it was an interplanetary ship tripulated by aliens.

6. Moderate wind. It was cold. 40's for us in Orlando is freezing.

In short, It is a UFO. I can't tell you 100% what it is, and I cannot identify it. But if you or anyone can get a few frame grabs and zoom in on it, you are welcome to do so. I will not be hurt in anyway if you find out it was an IFO. Actually you would spare my anger of not being able to get a clear shot and identify it.

It sounds to me like The Coward is going to be sleeping with one eye open and his 8x ZOOMER resting on his chest and his finger on the camera's button. If anything bigger than a seagull flies within a 10 mile radius of his pad he'll have a dozen photos and video tape of it before his feet have even hit the floor!

(IMHO)

I found it a bit strange that the moment the known aircraft was in the picture the video was stopped. Almost like it was a whoopsi daisy... I didn't want that to happen.

I agree if I was actually taping what I believed to be a real UFO I would have stayed there watching it without blinking until my eyes, and made sure I captured its end ... such as a fade out or streaking out of view. As for getting a better lense I think that should have been on the camera first. I do not know much about lenses but with todays technology I believe your video if real could be proven or debunked without any special lense.

Now, just by chance this was pure luck ... you have to be the luckiest person alive right now so I would get to the nearest casino pronto!

Like I said before. I really wanted to know what it was. I bought pretty good equipment for this kind of stuff. I look for UFOs every single time I can. What sparked my interest in taking high def pictures of UFOs was an event that happened about two years back. I was scanning my back yard once and saw a UFO. I took pictures of it with my fuji 5megapixel digital cam. The UFO pics are like so many others. Blurry. I was so excited and showed them to everyone i knew, they said that it could have been anything. From a cloud, to a weather balloon. But I tell you, if I had the equipment that I have now, there would have been no doubt of what it was, even if it was not an ET UFO. That UFO was really something weird. Like a flying blotch of light. Really strange.

Yes I admit I must have had luck. But in reality I think not, cause once again people are questioning a UFO sighting I had, and it is al because I was not lucky enough to get it with my telephoto lens. To me being lucky would be to get clear video of an alien craft. Actually, I would probably be the luckiest of them all.

It's funny when I got in the car to run to the store I looked at the clock and it was 5:50 also. What I saw was bright white and stationary until I got home which took me about 20 or so. When I got to my room and looked out I noticed it started to move off slowly to the southwest and change colors. I am going to check tonight and see if it happens again and if so I will try to get my grandson's camera unfortunately I don't know how to do all the fancy stuff but he does.

I am getting a gut feeling that something is up.

Man I've been seeing that exact same light in the sky here in Denver - it appears over the mountatins to the Southeast at dusk, very bright, and just hangs in the sky. Looks too bright and close to be a star - also not in the right position. Both times I've seen it last week and then we I go out to check on it again by 7 it's gone???

Looks like a out of focus fly/bug against the sky backdrop.

We have to keep reporting here what we see. I'm older so I am really not in taking pictures and have no clue how to do all this fancy work to put them here.

I am however going to look out tonight and see if I see the same thing or something similiar and I will try to get something with my grandson's help.

if it makes you guys feel any better I could film the location again so that you can see about where the UFO was. I can show you also that it is right in the path of the incoming airplanes too.

And NO! it was not a bug in the lens. It was something metallic, and it floated and hovered in the air.If it makes you guys feel any better I could film the location again so that you can see about where the UFO was. I can show you also that it is right in the path of the incoming airplanes too.

Of course I am scared of the possible agents, so I will do so covering my identity. I think it would suit me well, after all I am known as The Coward.

Also, I think we should be doing some sky watching right? I mean, I am on line but I have my laptop in the back yard right now. Also, I have my cam and equipment right here with me. Just in case.

The Coward, I also live near an airport, and I see all sorts of things flying around in the sky, night and day. At any given time during the night there are several lights moving in the sky. I really don't think you should get too excited about seeing anything unless it does something clearly strange, like exhibiting sudden acceleration.

With that said, I think you have a great idea here

Just a suggestion... if you do happen to have the extraordinary good fortune to catch something on-tape be sure to try and capture some context in the filming. That is, either open the zoom or pan the camera to get some physical obejt(s) in the picture with the object so people can do some speed/size/altitude calculations. A spot in the visual field has much less value than the same footage will if it also includes some known object.

It is approximately the same time as last night that I viewed that bright light. As I look out now the sky has nasty surreal cloud cover and if anything is there is will have to come below the cloud level.

I will observe and if anything occurs get back to you.

add: Cloud cover spreading and I can see the regular air ttraffic which is not heavy this way yet. I can see that white light which appears stationary it is not as big or bright the cloud layer is now covering it again. It is a lot more distant then last night and not as bright I believe it could be the same thing as last night and not a star or planet.

I can't see any other stars when the cover opens

The overcast is killing my UFO watch. It sucks right now here in Orlando. I will make sure and check tomorrow morning. I hope that I can catch something then.

Also, I have a microeconomics test this Thursday. It is really cramping my concentration.

PS. Check the skies tomorrow morning. The morning hours are prime for the metallic sphere UFOs. They sometimes appear motionless usually hundreds of feet above the individual.

Someone captured the same object I did on camera. They took a pic of a UFO that is very similar to the one I video taped. It was at around the same time but I think they took the pic a day after.

I thank god that someone else saw it or at least saw something in the skies of Florida other than me. I think that I might just send my video to the UFO casebook people and tell them my story.

Here is the link See the similarity

Now take a look at mine. Notice the shape

I too noticed that at times it looked disk like.

Anyway, I hope some of you have taken my advice, I am trying to reach you. There is a UFO WAVE and if you don't take the time to look, you might be missing out.

Peace
