This guy just called me prejudiced. See? Right there. So, I don't care about lumping you in with the dominant culture; in case you didn't know, it is TRUE. Dominant culture is a sociological way of saying majority. Now you know.

The trouble is as I see it, most of the posters left contributing have moved on past what you have to offer. The nah nah nah nah only goes so far and soon becomes tiresome and not really stimulating for those seeking productive banter.

The ability to discuss something as profound and complicated as the topic of this thread requires the poster to maintain a certain level of decorum and "bel esprit." The depth and complexity of the issue is sorely pressed when ones contribution involve violence against a woman.

This issue is clear to any that wish to see. Those that do not, well it is a free country and one is allowed to live in the dark if one so chooses.

AMEN! Very well said Semper. There are so many layers, so many different subcultures, so many cultures within the cultures .... people from one side of town can be night and day different than people on the other side of town - let alone on the other side of the state or country.

Poor white people don't dominate ANYTHING. Heck, even middle class white people don't 'dominate' much of significance either.
