Heeeelp! Lost Google

I was wondering if anyone has had this happen before? On my laptop, the google search bar has disappeared. Add and remove programs will not delete the old program so I can reload it. It's still present in the toolbars menu but I can not select it. Does anyone have any suggestions that will help restore it?

It may just be out of view. If you browse through the top of the screen closely, you may see something to click and drag. Play around, you may be able to pull it back into view. If not, try selecting it a few times to see if you can notice something appearing and disappearing.

If you damaged the program, you can also reinstall it.
It shouldn't hurt anything to install over the top of the old files.
