Frustrated with the lack of domestic support, left-leaning website moveon.org has apparently been reaching beyond American borders to generate cash revenue over the Internet!

The provocative international fundraising strategy threatens to embroil the presidential candidacies of General Wesley Clark and former Vermont Governor Howard Dean. Both men are named on international fundraising websites suggesting donations to moveon.org.

Moveon.org, which has been running ads critical of the Bush Administration, has named an "International Campaigns Director."

It is not clear how much money has been raised from foreign sources, but political websites from London to Portugal have been directing their citizens to stop the American president George Bush by donating to moveon.org.
drudgereport.com...

The WOLRD STILL HATES BUSH and is doing everything its power to unseat him. But, you know that "frustrated" part is BS, moveon.org is pulling some MAJOR dollars!

No...actually ask Joseph Lieberman to "chew slowly", cause it seems that as of today, he has been chewing "Draft Dodger" Dean a new butthole......

Remember:
"Howard Dean's nearest rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination seized on Saddam Hussein's capture to mount a sustained attack on the frontrunner, who has built his campaign on fierce opposition to the Iraq war. Sensing that the arrest could tip the balance in the counter-insurgency, ease US withdrawal and generally make the war more popular, Mr Dean's critics argued that his outspoken position on the issue would make him a liability in a head-to-head contest with a strengthened George Bush........"

Doesn't matter who wins. The damage is done the dollar is becoming worth less and less every month. Let Bush win and have the depression that's coming. You dum asses that support Bush are supporting a tool, one born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never had to work for crap. If that's what you want for president so be it, welcome to Rome all hail Nero.

Here you go Colonel:
"Brewing MoveOn Scandal Over Foreign Contributions Involves Dean, Clark Campaigns"
Link:
www.gopusa.com...

Excerpt:
"Drudge cites two Democrat presidential frontrunners who are listed by name on several international fundraising websites asking for donations to be made directly to MoveOn.org. Retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark and former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean were the two candidates listed on the websites requesting funds from foreign citizens."

And the PROBLEM with this Colonel...see one yet Mr. Lawyer? Let me show you:
"Non-Americans can't by law, give money to any particular candidate's campaign"

In other words, Moveon.org is funneling foreign investments to the DNC. Another question that comes to mind, is how can Moveon.org consider itself "politically independent" (from the site) and yet, knowing support the removal of Bush, a Republican, and press to elect a Democrat??
You don't think someone needs to notify the FEC: [email protected] concerning this? Perhaps this from the FEC pages:

"Reports Analysis"

"Campaign finance analysts assist committee officials in complying with reporting requirements and conduct detailed examinations of the campaign finance reports filed by political committees. If an error, omission or prohibited activity (e.g., an excessive contribution) is discovered in the course of reviewing a report, the analyst sends the committee a letter which requests that the committee either amend its reports or provide further information concerning a particular problem. By sending these letters (RFAIs), the Commission seeks to ensure full disclosure and to encourage the committees voluntary compliance with the law. Analysts also provide frequent telephone assistance to committee officials and encourage them to call the division with reporting questions or compliance problems. Local phone: 202-694-1130; toll-free phone 800-424-9530 (press 2 on a touch-tone phone)."

As noted also by this:
"11 CFR 100.4(a). Foreign Nationals."
"Contributions from foreign nationals who do not have permanent residence in the United States (i.e., those without green cards) are prohibited. Additionally, foreign nationals may not make contributions in connection with any election, including state and local elections."

Hey look...while the FEC is investigating the money hard-up Democrats and Moveon.org, maybe they can also hit up some others who are funding the DNC:
ANSWER
ACP (American Communist Party)
World Workers Party
and a few others.......
Link:
www.aim.org...

Hell, maybe they need to see if Moveon.org is using a third party site to avoid an FBI or FEC investigation...what you think?

Sick, simple as that, just sick....can't find enough support in the US for your Democratic causes that you have to find a "legal, yet illegial" bypass of US guidelines....now I know why the Democrats wanted campaign finance reform.......
