Are there any better photos than the out-of-focus orange dot?
Focusing always seems to be a problem..

Didn't you hear? UFO's have a device on board that prevents any form of focusing on them at any time. So it's impossible to know for sure what they are!

LOL- It does seem to always be that way doesn't it. . .

What I can't understand is that in the article the colonel states they were not like any flares he'd ever seen before. I agree with a previous poster that he should be well versed in the "flare" arena.

I think the footage is a U.S. Air Force C-17 transport plane which releases decoy flares when under atttack. The flares are high-intensity IR radiation flares which are used to draws heatseeking missiles away from the aircraft.

But the question is, why.., if that is what they are.

What is the use of testing something like this here out of all places. There has to be better ways to test flares like this. AND Radiation that i highly doubt.

But who knows..

www.auforn.com...

What footage are we talking about? Because the only footage I saw of the release of flares is of an C-130.

I believe it was an AC-130 too, not a transport, am I incorrect in believing that transport aircraft do not come with ECM?
