I remember back in 1993 a friend mentioned a GUI for the internet called the World Wide Web.

I said "What for, what's wrong with a command line?" or something similar.

LOL or what?

10% a month? Hmm, where would that make it now?

I love these old news clips. 14 years old that was. It almost makes me ponder what INTERNET means for me, today . . . no ATS if it wasn't for INTERNET!

This internet thing sound fascinating. I wonder if it'll take off.

I can clearly remember life before computers, but I cant imagine it, if that makes any sense.

One thing I did find kind of odd, and maybe its just me, but in the news clip they refer to "Internet".
Today it is refered to as "The Internet".

That was hilarious. Who would have thought all those years ago we'd be where we are now. Imagine where we'll be in another 15 years....

There's something quite odd about watching an old news item on 'internet' 15 years on, on the... erm... internet
