Electricity Conspiracy

now this might be pretty far fetched but it was just a thought i had last night while i was puttin a few beers back and blowin smoke

what if.. now bare with me.. what if before electricity humans could see in the dark? now it dosn't really seem THAT crazy considering electricity is fairly new to humans and as far as i know, a large percentage of the animal kingdom can see in the dark, as a matter of fact i know of quite a few animals that can see better in the dark then they can in the day?

could this be possible?

We have the wrong kind of eyes to see in the dark.

Nocturnal animals have retinas composed mostly of 'rods' and have almost no colour vision. Human eyes have more 'cones' and less 'rods', giving us good colour vision but bad night vision.

Remember before electricty there was gas lights, before that sticks of burning fuel (not sure what they used).

It's true - we used to be able to see in the dark.

We could also fly, you know before aeroplanes and stuff.

No, I don't think so.

Then you could see in the dark during a power outage.

And electric light is only about 200 years old.

humans do have night vision, however it takes around 10 to 15 minutes of being in darkness for your night vision to start working.
