Would Giuliani/Richardson make for a good 3rd Party Candidate for President?

Topic started on 24-1-2007 @ 05:25 PM by Low Orbit

Rudy Giuliani is not the most conservative Republican candidate.

Bill Richardson is not the most liberal Democratic candidate.

If the truth is supposedly found in the middle how would a duo like Giuliani/Richardson be against the Republican and Democrats in '08, could they win?

Even if they couldn't win, do you think a team that crosses political parties like this would be good or bad for our country.

I think a team like this who makes the middle class their PRIME responsibility could do very well and could easily win against the normal candidates, where am I going wrong?

Anyone with access to the show Hardball on MSNBC, they are going to talk about a "unity ticket" split between the parties I wonder who Chris will want? I hope someone brings up Giuliani/Richardson!
