How to mark a thread as read?

Topic started on 24-1-2007 @ 11:36 AM by Arkangel4time

I hope this is the right place for this to be asked

Is there a way to mark a thread I have read as being read?

Sure would help if I could know where I left off reading an especially active thread. I know most other forums have this option.

Thanks in advance people!

I don't think it's like other boards where it has different colors if you read it or not, but I think if you subscribe to the thread in "myATS" you can see when someone responds to it.

Arkangel

That is one of the very best questions as far as the ATS site is concerned!

Looking forward to an answer....

Thanks Lake!

Speaking from experience, I don't think there is. I know you can customize your myATS to utilize the site to your own preference. I was registered here for quite some time before I took advantage of this one, and it made a huge difference. When the order of threads gets shuffled, it becomes apparent that a post has been made.

Other then that, the onus is on us as the member to keep up to date with active threads. With some popular threads, it can be very difficult.

But at the same time I could be wrong. But in the time I've been with the community, I've never come across it.

Click the myATS link up the top and look for the button to customize it. It is an option I would definitely take advantage of.

All the best,
chissler

in my experience with ATS (almost three years, as a member) i have found no tool that accomodates for this need...

but, as ATSer enjoies05 said, you can "subscribe" to a thread by clicking on the button or by simply replying to a thread...

EDIT:

thanks for helping chissler too
