This is like every bloody war the U.S has engaged in; it's nothing but propaganda at work trying to make the American public uniform in conscious
against those that would week to harm them. Threats from Iran are and should be taken seriously, but not as seriously as those given by the United
States who have in the past been known to act out on threats whereas Iran has not. This is imperative to understand: the ultimate end to this will
become of a bloody slaughter which can amount to millions if the United States does not regress its' current policy, and more importantly, if this
current administration is derided from it's current mentality on handling the Middle East and the War on Terrorism.
This is a president that does not care what the public or notables say, he's myopic and delusional, an absolute madman if you ask me.
The following is an excerpt from the official response by the Democratic Party to President George W Bush's State of the Union Address. The statement
was made by Senator Jim Webb.
The president took us into this war recklessly.
He disregarded warnings from the national security adviser during the first Gulf War, the chief of staff of the army, two former commanding generals
of the Central Command, whose jurisdiction includes Iraq, the director of operations on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and many, many others with great
integrity and long experience in national security affairs.
We are now, as a nation, held hostage to the predictable - and predicted - disarray that has followed.
The war's costs to our nation have been staggering.
The damage to our reputation around the world. The lost opportunities to defeat the forces of international terrorism.
And especially the precious blood of our citizens who have stepped forward to serve.
Everything we hear and read about must be taken very critically or it could cost us dearly as it has so many times before in the past.
