Welcome to the Above Top Secret Cryptozoology Avatar Competition!
The contest officially opens as of right now. It will run until
February 18th, 2007 @ 12:00AM PST. At that time the contest will close, & the
judges will take over. All submissions are of the Cryptozoology theme, so feel free to be creative with your work.
PLEASE Read All of the Rules & Guidelines Before Entering the Competition!
Each judge will rate submitted images from 1 to 10.
1 being the lowest score and 10 being the highest.
The judges scores are purely subjective and anonymous. Members will be able to see scores but they will not be able to see what judge scored what
amount.
The image that scores the highest will receive a set amount of BTS Points.
Every submission will be issued a point total at the end of the competition, so everyone will be able to see where they placed.
The competition is consisted of TWO Divisions. We have the LIGHT Weight Division, and the HEAVY Weight Division.

LIGHT WEIGHT DIVISION
This Division is for Members who do not regularly create images, or hold breathtaking photoshop abilities. We do stipulate that you do create your own
avatar to enter the competition.
If you need any assistance with an Avatar, Resizing or Cropping, it is mandatory that you turn to myself or Umbrax for help. The two of us have put
our heads together on this and we would like to restrict the editing of submissions by other Members or Competitors. So if you need help, ask either
of us for it. We would be more than happy to lend a hand.

The Winner of the Light Weight Division will be issued 7,000 BTS Points.
HEAVY WEIGHT DIVISION
This Division is restricted to the members who create their own avatars, without any assistance. If you wish to enter this Division, you can not ask
for any help. Judges will decipher through all the submissions and decide on a winner. If you are submitting an avatar in this division, it is
mandatory that you have created the avatar yourself.
The Winner of the Heavy Weight Division will be issued 10,000 BTS Points.

Each member may submit only 1 avatar for this contest.
Members are not permitted to post 1 avatar per division, it is 1 submission for the whole competition. Any others will be deleted, no questions asked.
Mods will not remove older image posts so that you can resubmit. You will only have the regular “edit window” if you need to fix an image. Members
who submit an avatar in both divisions will have the second avatar deleted.
Images that break the Terms & Conditions will be removed and the member will be disqualified from the contest.
Images must fit the Avatar guidelines.
Avatars:
GIF and JPEG file formats only with a maximum dimension of 160 pixels wide, by 320 pixels tall.
File sizes are not to exceed 75k, and animated GIF's are allowed. (physical size can extend up to 400 pixels tall for images under 50k in file
size)
No profanity. No 3rd party advertising for any website(s).
Images submitted after the dead line will not be accepted.
To submit your avatar, you MUST display it in your post.
Members who fail to display the avatar in their post, will not be eligible for judging.
Members must also announce what Division they are entering along with their member name in the post.
Moderators may participate but the images will not be scored and can not win the point prize.
