Hello all.

Please accept the following link with my deepest best wishes for all.

You Can't Afford The Luxury of a Negative Thought

I read this book originally back in the mid 90's and I have to say it totally changed my life.

Although this book was written originally with terminally ill people in mind, it's principles can be applied by everyone.

It is not like any self help book I have every read. Most of these so called self help guides do one thing wrong. They ignore the negative.

There is absolutely no point in ignoring the negative... just like the proverbial ostridge with it's head in the sand.

This book teaches to live for life and to enjoy what you have. It also teaches how to deal with negative issues and reach for success.

Since reading this book, I can honestly say I have reduced the amount of time I have felt sad or unhappy to next to nil.

This all sounds like a sales pitch but the link I provided is a legal link to the FULL BOOK.

The very nature of this book is to spread health, wealth and happiness into the world not least of which is aimed at your self

O.k. All the best people.

NeoN HaZe.

Btw... Here's an article I found about why positive thinking (in the way most people understand it) doesn't work. The feeling part of the equation is missing.

It begins with a common example.

There was someone I used to work with who, well aware
of their tendency to look at the negative side of things,
used to constantly tell themselves to "think more
positively".

This was said with such a feeling of desperation that I just
knew that not only would they NOT think positively, they
would probably go even further into negative thinking. The
mere fact that they kept pushing themselves to "think
positively" was a sign that this would ultimately be
counterproductive.

Then explains where the misunderstanding about postive thinking is.

The Law of Attraction, as defined by Abraham Hicks states
that "you attract to yourself what you give your attention
and energy to, whether wanted or unwanted".

One reason why positive thinking doesn't work is that our
focus is in the wrong place. So we say "I don't want to be
ill" and believe that this thought will prevent us from
being ill. So where is our focus? On being ill!
Because the Universe doesn't recognize "not" or "don't".
How many times have you told yourself NOT to forget
something and then what happens? Oops you've forgotten it!

It then goes on about positive feeling, and why that is the key to improving life.

How can you begin to reverse this? Rather than focusing on
your thoughts, focus on your feelings about a given
situation or what you would like the situation to be. Start
to visualise and sense what you truly desire. Focus on
ramping up good, positive, energetic feelings about what
you desire, rather than the thought.

Dude, totally amazing!

I just finished
my ATS blog concerning "positive thinking.

In short, my blog basically tells my story of unacceptance to myself.
I was diagnosed as an obsessive compulsive at the age of 14, (brought on by a strict religious belief system), and in short - when I was a missionary in Vienna, I learned acceptance. (positive thinking for sure.)

Anyway, I breezed over to the forums and saw this, and was amazed with the timing.

Quantum entanglement? lol

Peace
