I looked for a thread like this, but couldn't find one, though if there is Mod's feel free to close this one.

So what would you do with a million dollars?

I would like to think that i would donate a good amount of it, and then give my family a good amount as well. I think that for myself I would probably invest the majority of what was left, and then maybe give myself a good vacation.

I would like to hear all of your responses, and remember you can be as creative as possible.

I would have to invest at least half of it.

Let's face it a million dollars isn't worth a million dollars anymore.

You would need at least 3 million, to live happily ever after.

btw, I am selfish. I ain't givin' none of it away.

I'm not a nice guy in real life, I only play one on the 'net.

ok, just kidding about that last bit. I'm still a nice guy irl.

First I would write uncle Sam a check for 50% of it so I don't get into trouble and then I'd build a new house with the rest of it on a nice piece of land. I guess that wouldprobably wind up my short life as a millionaire.

I would put it all into a high rate savings account 3.0%+ and live off the interest that I accumulate =). Even at a 3.0% per annum you would be making $30,000 per year on interest alone. It would be very easy to live off of 2500 tax free dollars per month. And you would feel safe knowing you would always have $1,000,000 in the bank.

I'd buy a modest house for around $300,000, furnish it and bank the rest.

I'd live my day to day life, as if nothing changed. Buy a normal home of course, with a new vehicle, and then continue to live my day to day life with financial security. Then maybe four or five years down the road, my credit rating may finally come back to respectability.

Oh, and I'd invest in ATS.

I would open a car dealership.
I would have a autobody and paint shop that catered
specifically to women. Guality work at a resonable price.

( sick of those men that think women
know nothing about cars and talk to you like a two year old?)

I would bank the rest, knowing a good business takes a few years
to turn a profit, and live the rest of my life...........

LMAO..keeping the books straight

I would give my parents £100.000, my bro £50.000 and keep the rest for myself, maybe go on holiday to Amsterdam for a good amount of time, it's not the girls i'm after though, So I would let alot of the money go up in smoke if you get me.....

Just to clarify i'm talking 1000.000 in Pound Sterling...

I would most certainly pay off any debt I may have accumulated, buy a modest house, pay off the car, and bank the rest in a high interest savings account.
